SAW OPERATOR / FACTORY LABOURER
TWO vacancies have arisen at Brancepeth Engineering for experienced Saw Operator/Factory Labourers to join our team at Shildon.
IMMEDIATE START REQUIRED
Duties include:
· Unloading deliveries both manually and by Forklift Truck
· Cutting, deburring and preparing steel using an industrial saw and relevant tools.
· General Labour – assembling products, and other duties as required.
· Using hand tools such as drills
· Manual handling and moving stock around the factory
· General housekeeping of the area, making sure the area is kept safe to work in
Full training will be given.
The role is physical and involves some heavy lifting and would suit someone with previous knowledge and experience of working in a factory environment.
A COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT TRUCK LICENCE IS REQUIRED. knowledge and experience of using band saws preferred but not essential.
The role is full-time, with a dayshift working pattern:
Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4.00pm
Friday – 7.30am – 1.30pm
