A fantastic Secondary School in Yeovil is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated MFL teacher to join the team! We are looking for a dedicated teacher of French and Spanish who is passionate about language learning and able to inspire and engage the students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish, catering to a range of abilities
- Assess and monitor student progress, setting and achieving high standards
- Support and advise students, helping them to reach their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) preferable, ECTs welcome to apply
- Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
- Ability to motivate and engage students, creating a positive learning environment
- A commitment to raising standards and closing the achievement gap
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
