About the Role
SPD Brand Studio is looking for a Paid Media Specialist to join our team in Forbury Square, Reading. You will plan, launch, and optimise paid advertising campaigns that help our clients increase brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and achieve measurable commercial growth.
This role is ideal for a data-driven digital marketer who understands how creative content, audience targeting, campaign structure, and performance analysis work together. You will manage advertising activities across multiple platforms while collaborating with designers, copywriters, account managers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms.
- Conduct audience, keyword, competitor, and market research before launching campaigns.
- Create campaign structures based on client objectives, target audiences, and available budgets.
- Monitor campaign spending, reach, engagement, conversions, and return on advertising spend.
- Optimise bids, targeting, placements, keywords, and advertising creatives.
- Develop and test different headlines, descriptions, visuals, and calls to action.
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and analytics platforms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly campaign performance reports.
- Translate campaign data into clear recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Work with designers and copywriters to produce effective advertising materials.
- Manage multiple client accounts, budgets, deadlines, and campaign calendars.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor platform updates, advertising policies, and digital marketing trends.
- Support landing-page testing and conversion-rate optimisation activities.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2–4 years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, digital advertising, or a related position.
- Practical experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
- Good understanding of paid search, display advertising, remarketing, and paid social media.
- Experience working with campaign budgets and performance targets.
- Ability to analyse conversion rates, cost per acquisition, click-through rates, and return on advertising spend.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and campaign organisation.
- Ability to explain technical campaign results to non-technical clients.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- A degree or professional qualification in marketing, advertising, business, communications, or a related discipline is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certification.
- Experience working in a branding, creative, or digital marketing agency.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Microsoft Advertising, or TikTok Ads.
- Experience using Looker Studio or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of landing-page optimisation and A/B testing.
- Basic understanding of search engine optimisation and content marketing.
- Experience managing advertising campaigns for multiple industries.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management and marketing automation platforms.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
