Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and excellent customer service. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.
This role requires a person who's customer services skills are excellent, who can be the first point of contact for an up market venue.
Duties
- Monitor and control access points to prevent unauthorized entry
- Greet customers and check if they have booked.
- Deliver fantastic customer servive.
- Enforce venue policies in a courteous and professional manner
- Respond promptly to incidents, including providing first aid if required
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and security activities
- Conduct pat-downs or searches when appropriate, adhering to legal guidelines
- Collaborate with other security personnel and emergency services as needed
Experience
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor license is essential
- Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous
- First aid certification or willingness to undertake training is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and courteously
This role is paid weekly in arrears.
