An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Education Service, as part of the Business Development and Governance Team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will support the Mandatory Training Team to provide a range of administrative functions primarily focused on the Electronic Staff Record (ESR)system used within the Trust.
The Education department operates within Field House at Bradford Royal Infirmary.
The post holder will provide a first point of contact service for all Trust staff relating to ESR, including queries related to eLearning and course bookings. They will also be the first point of contact for Subject Matter Experts to create courses within ESR. The post holder will be required to understand mandatory training requirements and offer advice to staff.
Providing a first-contact troubleshooting service for problems within the teaching, training, and meeting rooms within Field House Education Centre, the post holder will refer issues to appropriate staff where this is necessary. The role requires the undertaking of opening up, room setup, and closing down routines and is responsible for a range of tasks involved in maintaining the general operation of the centre.
To undertake a wide range of administrative tasks to support the wider functions of the department. There is also a requirement to have a good working knowledge of the reception service to cross cover where required.

Undertake administrative tasks relating to the Trust’s E-Learning System (LMS) but not restricted to:
Troubleshooting of day-to-day routine and non-routine problems
Provision of training and support to users of the system
Administer user accounts for the LMS including data clean up tasks
Produce and process attendance sheets for courses held in the facility.
Develop and maintain databases ensuring that information is accurate, consistent and up-to-date
Review and adapt administrative systems and databases to meet the demands of any changes within Education.
Support Subject Matter Experts in preparation of courses.
Record instances of Did Not Attend (DNA) on the database and notify appropriate managers.
Support the Senior Education Administrator in the preparation of Business Intelligence Reports
Support the Senior Education Administrator in ensuring the correct competency mapping for all positions and manage exemptions.
Support the Senior Education Administrator in ensuring compliance with Trust Induction for new starters, including all areas of mandatory training for new starters.
Develop effective communication networks and sound working relationships with internal and external administrative colleagues.
Provide excellent Customer Service and communicate effectively at all levels via email, telephone and face to face.
To provide a high quality administrative service in order to support the effective running of the Education Service. This includes the use of word processing, databases and spreadsheets and following standard operating procedures used in the department.
Contribute to improvements in the service.
Prioritise and manage own workload to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Follow policies and procedures which are applicable to the remit of the post.
Any other duties necessary within the scope of an administrator to deliver the service needed.
