Role Purpose
As an Awards & Recognition Manager, you are the pivotal execution engine driving client success across our core accounts. Sitting directly under the Senior Awards & Recognition Manager, you translate high-level strategies into flawlessly executed portfolios. You will own day-to-day account management, lead information-gathering workflows, edit narratives, and serve as the main operational point of contact for big-brand marketing and communications teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Execution: Manage the end-to-end delivery of comprehensive award submission programs across a dedicated portfolio of global enterprise accounts.
- Client Account Management: Serve as the trusted daily contact for client marketing and PR leads, keeping them aligned on timelines, dependencies, and entry progress.
- Information & Data Harvesting: Lead data-gathering workshops and interviews with client project teams to extract crucial performance metrics and technical proof points.
- Narrative Integration & Editing: Take initial drafts from our writing team and review them against the client’s brand guidelines, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with the judge's scoring criteria.
- Deadline & Project Ownership: Maintain absolute ownership of the master account calendars, ensuring multiple concurrent regional and global submission windows are hit without defect.
- Compliance Safeguarding: Act as the final quality assurance gatekeeper, verifying that all entries strictly comply with category rules, character limits, formatting guidelines, and client legal clearances.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of account management, project management, or communications experience within a fast-paced agency, PR firm, or strategic professional services consultancy.
- Client-Facing Confidence: Proven ability to build strong working relationships with corporate stakeholders, navigate feedback loops, and manage shifting client priorities with diplomacy.
- Analytical Copy-Editing: Exceptional project tracking skills combined with a strong editorial eye to spot narrative gaps or missing metrics in a draft entry.
- Rigorous Operational Discipline: A meticulous mindset that treats deadlines as unmovable and details—like data formatting or character caps—with absolute precision.
Technology Stack
- Required: Enterprise project tracking architecture (e.g., Asana, Monday.com), secure document storage networks (e.g., SharePoint, Google Workspace Enterprise), real-time team communication tools (Slack, MS Teams).
