Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Administer medications to patients following established protocols and under appropriate supervision, ensuring proper documentation.
- Provide direct patient care by answering medication-related questions, offering guidance on medication usage, and supporting adherence.
- Maintain meticulous records of medication administration, inventory levels, and pharmacy activities to comply with regulatory standards.
- Support the pharmacy team with inventory management, stock replenishment, and organization of medication supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure optimal medication therapy for patients.
- Uphold all safety protocols and infection control procedures to create a secure environment for staff and patients.
Qualifications
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medication handling and pharmacy operations.
- Experience in medication administration within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care, with excellent communication skills and compassionate approach.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high attention to detail.
