Due to high demand we have vacancies for a Pre - school Team Leader at our Walmersley setting with great bus and tram routes. The job role would consist of working full time within a strong team, caring for children aged from 3years - 4 years, working closely with parents and carers and other professionals from multi agency's.
Our employee salary range is based on your skills, competence on the job and previous nursery experience or qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
· To provide a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities.
· To ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
· To manage a team effectively and to a high standard.
· To fulfil legal and statutory requirements and to supervise staff on a daily basis.
· To agree and set team goals and monitor the achievement of progress against targets.
· To monitor and assess the quality of provision within your room, ensuring that policies and procedures, best practice and standards are maintained.
1 Operational Responsibilities
· To support the management team in the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring compliance with registration and legislative requirements at all times.
· To uphold and ensure a high standard of care.
· To implement and maintain the company’s Equality & Inclusion policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
· To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.
· To give daily feedback to the management team about the room including any complaints received or any situation that may be detrimental to the company.
· Prepare the setting for Ofsted inspections and action any recommendations made by the inspector ensuring a minimum good grade is awarded.
