Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to Mortgage Advisers, ensuring mortgage applications are processed efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Mortgage Case Management
- Process new mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and submit mortgage applications to lenders.
- Monitor the progress of applications from submission through to completion.
- Liaise with lenders, solicitors, estate agents, valuers, and clients to obtain updates and resolve outstanding queries.
- Ensure all case files are maintained accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Chase outstanding documentation and keep all parties informed of case progress.
Client Support
- Act as the primary administrative point of contact for clients throughout the mortgage process.
- Request and verify client documentation, including proof of income, identification, bank statements, and supporting evidence.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their applications.
- Deliver a professional and high standard of customer service at all times.
- Communication & Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, solicitors, surveyors, and other third parties.General Administrative Duties
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems.
- Produce reports and assist with management information when required.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a mortgage administration or financial services administration role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of the UK mortgage market and mortgage application process.
- Experience using mortgage sourcing systems and CRM software.
- Understanding of FCA regulations and mortgage compliance.
- Experience working within a mortgage brokerage or financial advisory firm.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
