Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Courier to join our dynamic delivery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries to our clients. The successful applicant will possess strong communication skills and a proven track record in commercial driving. Need to have own car or van, a mobile device that can use the delivery app.
Duties
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely collection and drop-off of goods.
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams, clients, and colleagues regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Assist in warehouse tasks when required, including organising stock and preparing parcels for dispatch.
- Work is flexible. You would not have a fixed route, these can change daily to assist with courier holidays and absences.
Experience
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within a commercial or logistics environment.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in commercial driving, demonstrating knowledge of road regulations and safety standards.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritising deliveries under tight schedules. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, possess excellent organisational skills, and are committed to providing outstanding service through safe driving practices.
Pay: £97.68-£200.46 per day
