Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various locations. 3D Trans Limited are a family owned transport company with a difference, we are passionate about the service we offer our customers and support to our staff which enables us to offer high levels of service to our growing customer base. £25 per night out allowance allocated to Tramper Drivers.
Role Profile:
- C+E Driver experience for over 1 year
- 35 hours CPC required
- Container experience preferred
- Tanker experience preferred
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo on some deliveries, and ensuring proper securing of items for safe transport. Mainly container work, but some tanker work beginning June 2026.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.
Skills
- Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as required.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in deliveries and documentation.
