We are currently looking for motivated and quality driven part time Complex Care Support Workers / Caregivers in Clackmannanshire to join our growing Homecare Scotland family.

The Clients:
Two vibrant pre-teenagers who are looking for support with their social activities and pursuing their interests at the weekend. The first client is a boy with Down’s Syndrome and Autism, he enjoys playing with toys, playing and watching football and music. The second client is a girl with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and is going through diagnosis for neurodivergence. She enjoys playing with toys, water play and being in nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support with social activities and outings
- Support with challenging behaviours and non-verbal communication
- Assistance with all aspects of personal care, moving and handling on a 2:1 basis
Essential Criteria/Experience:
You will be joining a team of caregivers working on a 2:1 basis. Training, ongoing supervision and support from colleagues, family and manager will be available.
- Excellent team working skills
- Experience of managing challenging behaviour in children and young people
- Complex care experience including awareness of neurodivergence in children
- Experience with children with disabilities
- Compassionate and understanding individual
- Able to commit to described shifts
- A driving licence is essential due to client’s location
- Full Right to Work in the UK, please note we cannot offer sponsorship for this position.
Our work pattern:
- 8 hour shifts spilt between morning and afternoon with each child
- Saturdays & Sundays only
- Ideal for a student nurse, physiotherapist or occupational therapist
