Summary
We are seeking a Baby Room Supervisor to join our team at Safe & Sound Day Nursery in GB. This vital role involves overseeing the care and development of our youngest children, ensuring a safe, engaging, and educational environment that aligns with our values of excellence and compassion.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the baby room team, ensuring high standards of care and education.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for infants.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support staff development through coaching and training.
- Monitor children's progress and document developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with the wider nursery team to deliver a cohesive learning experience.
- Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership experience in a childcare or nursery setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Childcare Qualification or equivalent).
- Experience working specifically with infants preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
- Passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing environment.
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
