About the role
We're looking for a friendly, organised Dental Nurse / Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our Motherwell premises. It's a varied role that splits between front of house and chairside support, so you'll be as comfortable greeting a customer and taking a payment as you are mixing alginate and assisting with impressions.
This is a genuinely customer-facing role. Every appointment is one to one, so the right person will be confident, presentable, warm, and happy working independently.
What you'll be doing
Front of house
- Meeting and greeting customers
- Managing appointments through our online booking system
- Taking payments
- Answering phones and handling general enquiries
- Keeping the front of house running smoothly
Clinical support
- Assisting with impressions, including mixing and preparing alginate
- Taking and assisting with intraoral scans
- Preparing the surgery, decontamination, and stock
What we're looking for
- Qualified dental nurse, or a trainee currently working towards qualification
- Experience with an intraoral scanner is a real advantage, though full training is provided
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers one to one
- Comfortable with basic computer systems
- Professional, warm, and reliable
- Previous reception or customer-facing experience preferred but not essential
Why join us
- Digital dentistry, properly. We're not a practice that's talking about going digital one day. Intraoral scanning, digital design, and 3D manufacturing are how we already work, and you'll be trained on kit that most nurses don't get their hands on until much later in their career.
- A growing company. The role will grow with the business, and there's real scope to develop into a more senior digital or clinical support position.
- Full training provided across both the reception and clinical sides of the role.
- An easy commute. Two minute walk from the train station, with a bus stop directly at the front entrance.
- Sociable hours. 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. No evenings, no weekends.
