We are seeking a flexible, experienced grill chef who wants to be a helpful member of our team in a busy environment.

About us
Bowgie Inn is a family run coastal venue. It has views out over Crantock Beach and up the North Cornwall Coast.
During the summer months we are very busy with the huge influx of tourists to the area.

We are a busy rural beachside pub offering a position for an experienced Grill Chef to assist on the grill as well as covering lunchtimes on the friers and some prep as well.
We can offer work patterns such as 4 days on, 4 days off (this would include weekends) Evenings, Weekends, 4 or 5 day weeks

For the kitchen position Food Safety Level 2 is essential but training can be undertaken on joining the team if necessary - this role will include cooking steaks, burgers, chips, fish to order as well as assisting with other grilled orders. You will also be helping with preparation for service and roast lunches on Sundays. Your duties will also include helping the team with prep, the daily clean down and routine deep cleaning and all other related duties.
We are looking for people who are used to working in a busy kitchen environment.
Seeking responsible, professionals who have good levels of experience and communication skills.
The Bowgie is a great location for surfing, cycling, swimming, paddle boarding, hiking and fantastic sunsets, with parking on site.
We are located between Newquay and Perranporth in our own little bubble on West Pentire Headland, whilst our village attracts a lot of visitors, it is out of the hustle and bustle of the towns and is all about the beach and the natural beauty of the area.
Nearby village of Crantock has pubs, a shop and 2 churches, surf hire, tearoom and gift shops open in the summer too. We are situated in a great village community.
