Do you enjoy working outdoors, being hands-on and creating something you can be proud of?
We're looking for two Apprentice Landscapers to join our growing team at Pride Landscape & Design. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced landscapers while gaining a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification through Riseholme College.
You'll attend college one day each week and spend the rest of your time working on real landscaping projects across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
No previous experience is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

You'll work alongside experienced landscapers on a wide variety of exciting projects, learning skills that will stay with you for life.
What You'll Learn
During your apprenticeship you'll gain experience in:
- Groundworks and site preparation
- Porcelain and natural stone paving
- Driveway construction
- Timber decking
- Fencing and gates
- Turfing and lawn preparation
- Planting trees, shrubs and flowers
- Garden lighting
- Drainage installation
- Living walls and specialist landscaping features
- Safe use of hand tools, power tools and machinery
- Reading landscaping drawings and plans
- Working professionally with customers

Training
You will complete the:
Level 2 Horticulture or Landscape Construction Operative Apprenticeship (Landscape Construction Route)
Training takes place at Riseholme College one day per week, with the remainder spent working alongside our experienced installation team on live customer projects.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
7:45am – 4:30pm
45-minute unpaid lunch
40 hours per week.
Salary
Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (or above depending on age and experience).
Important Information
This is a physically demanding outdoor role. You'll be working in all weather conditions, lifting materials, operating tools and machinery, and travelling to customer sites each day.
You'll need to be able to travel to our depot in Retford every morning before travelling to site with the team.
