Are you passionate about great coffee and providing excellent customer service? We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista to join our weekend team at The Coffee Box in Hickstead.
Ideally, you'll have at least 1 year café experience or are looking to begin a career in speciality coffee. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, community-focused business and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
As one of the faces of The Coffee Box, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and helping deliver the exceptional service that keeps them coming back week after week.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality coffee and hot drinks
- Preparing simple food items, including breakfast rolls and toasties
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Operating the till and handling customer payments
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Assisting with stock management and restocking products as required
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Helping create a positive and welcoming environment for customers

Sundays:
Additional shifts will be available between Monday - Friday should you want them, but the contracted days are for Saturdays and Sundays only.
About You

- Passionate about coffee and customer service
- Previous café or hospitality experience is preferable
Training & Development
Previous barista experience is desirable. However, we will provide full training and ongoing support to help you develop your skills and confidence.
You'll also have the opportunity to receive specialist coffee training from our fantastic speciality coffee roasting partner, learning about coffee preparation, extraction, milk texturing, and customer service from experienced professionals.
