As a Goods In Operative, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in the day-to-day management of the Goods In warehouse. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. All training is provided.
The rate of pay is £14.68, £585.80 per week, £30,461 per year plus opportunities for over time, paid weekly, shift allowance included.
Duties:
- To receive materials in a safe manner and distribute to the specified locations
- To supply the preparation department with materials as required
- To ensure stock is rotated first in first out and within the use by dates
- To supply the packaging department with materials to meet the production plan
- To ensure all H & S and Hygiene regulations are adhered to
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience
- FLT License (Reach & Counterbalance) preferred
