The role of Forklift Operator:
- Ensuring all material movements are carried out in a timely manner, keeping production efficient and to a high standard
- Move, load, unload, and stack goods within warehouses
- Checking deliveries
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Good knowledge of UK health and safety regulations
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
The ideal Forklift Operator:
- Proven experience within a factory or workshop environment
- Sound knowledge of forklift maintenance and safety checks
- RTITB counterbalance licence
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to multitask with outstanding time management and communication skills
- Flexibility and self-motivation
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a noisy environment
