Job Summary
We are seeking 2 part time kitchen assistants each working 15 hours per week:
Position 1: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-2pm
Position 2: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9am-2pm
Both positions require flexibility to cover holidays and sickness when required.
Rate of pay is currently £12.71 per hour (for over 18 years old)
Duties to include:
· Washing, peeling, and preparing food ingredients
· Using equipment such as mixers, peeling machine, special knives, and cutters
· Unloading fresh supplies for storage in the stockroom
· Cleaning and washing up kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes, and pans
· Packing up of meals on wheels
· Any other kitchen related tasks the Chef Manager asks of you
Previous current experience of working in a kitchen essential
