Dunchurch Pools is a modern marina with a reputation for exceptional customer service and a friendly, supportive team. We have an exciting temporary opportunity to join our team for 3 months initially, possibly longer, to work Mondays and Tuesdays and some cover shifts on other days.
This is a varied, customer facing, hands-on role with a mix of indoor and outdoor working. The successful candidate will be confident interacting with people, practical, friendly and adaptable. It would suit someone with previous experience in customer service, hospitality, reception or administration roles but who is also happy to work outdoors.
When working at our beautiful marina, no two days are the same! Your duties would include:
- greeting customers when they arrive at the marina office
- providing services to boats on the supply dock
- conducting marina tours
- general admin duties
- providing viewings of brokerage boats
- monitoring usage on electric meters
- supporting café staff serving drinks and food
To be successful, you will
- be a people person with strong communication skills
- have a practical approach to your work
- be an efficient multi-tasker
- be comfortable working on a computer and familiar with Microsoft office
No marina experience is needed as full training will be provided.
Due to our rural location, your own transport is required.
