Job Overview
We are seeking either a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong organisational ability, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide chairside support to patients..
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with the management of appointments and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and practice policies.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.
- Reception duties and to utilise IT systems for record keeping and scheduling appointments as required.
Qualifications
- For Qualified Dental Nurse it is essential to have a relevant certification or diploma and GDC registration.
- For Trainee Dental Nurses it is essential to have English and Maths at grade C or above
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Prior experience in patient care within a dental setting is preferred but not essential.
- A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
Pay dependent on experience.
