- £43,000 – £46,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer looking for a role where you can work on quality projects, develop your skills and be rewarded properly for the work you do?
This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing engineering business with over 30 years of industry experience, a strong reputation and long-term contracts with some of the UK's biggest organisations.
You'll be working across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites, installing modern HVAC systems for prestigious clients while becoming part of an experienced engineering team.
The Role
This is a hands-on installation position covering a wide variety of commercial air conditioning and HVAC systems.
You'll be involved from installation through to testing and commissioning, working alongside experienced engineers and site teams to deliver projects to a high standard.
You'll be working on:
- Split systems
- VRV / VRF systems
- Chillers
- Heat pumps
- AHUs
- Close control systems
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Installing commercial HVAC and air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites
- Reading and working from technical drawings and installation specifications
- Completing pipework, containment, bracketry and associated installation works
- Assisting with system testing and commissioning
- Carrying out remedial works and upgrades to existing systems
- Ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Completing job sheets, documentation and installation records
- Working closely with customers, site managers and other engineers
- Representing the business professionally on customer sites
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an engineer who takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career within a successful engineering business.
You'll need:
- F-Gas 2079 Category 1
- Previous experience working within commercial air conditioning
- Strong knowledge of VRV/VRF and split systems
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good technical and fault-finding ability
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team
