We’re now looking for an English Tutor & Learning Pioneer to join our team—someone who’s passionate about guiding primary-aged learners through the wonderful world of words, stories, and beyond.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Inspire Young Readers & Writers: Deliver engaging, creative English sessions tailored to the UK primary curriculum, helping children fall in love with literacy.
· Be a Curriculum Navigator: Use your strong understanding of the UK school system to support learners where it matters most—whether it’s phonics, comprehension, or creative writing.
· Step into the Maths Woods: When needed, you’ll confidently switch hats to teach primary maths—helping learners solve problems and build number confidence.
· Craft Memorable Lessons: Plan and prepare sessions that are structured, fun, and aligned with each child’s needs. Provide thoughtful feedback to help them grow.
· Teach Beyond the Treehouse: Deliver seamless virtual lessons when required, using Google Classroom and other digital tools to keep learning lively and interactive.
· Build Our Learning Toolkit: Create SOPs, lesson templates, and simple tech guides to help our team teach even more effectively.
· Keep the Treehouse Blooming: Handle light admin tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly—because every great lesson starts with great organisation.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
· A firm grasp of the UK primary curriculum and school system.
· Confidence teaching English and Maths to primary-aged children.
· Experience planning lessons and giving constructive feedback.
· Tech comfort with Google Classroom, virtual teaching tools, and everyday apps.
· A proactive, organised approach—happy to create systems and help with admin.
Desirable:
· A knack for creating engaging social media content to share our Treehouse story.
· Experience supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
