Role
· Cladding designer position detailing roofing & cladding systems to include twin-skin, single ply & composite panel systems in value from £1 million to £15 Million
· Produce 2D project specific working drawings and fabrication schedules
· Liaise with project design team including main contractor, architects, steelworker and siphonic contractors
· Attend in person & online design team meetings
· Liaise with system manufacturers and suppliers
· Liaise with internal departments
· Support site installation teams with day-to-day queries
· Scope to progress into a senior position
Experience
· Proven Design experience within the roofing and cladding sector
· Be familiar with a range of building envelope systems such as twin skin, single ply and composite panel systems
· Must have 2D AutoCAD experience
· IT literate (Microsoft Office)
· Motivated, proactive and focus driven individual with attention to detail
· Able to work as part of a team or solo on projects
· Ability to work to deadlines with a flexible, proactive approach
· ONC / HNC in construction or similar
