When something isn’t working, are you the person who needs to know why?
Maybe you’re the one colleagues call when they’re locked out of a system, can’t find what they need or just want someone to explain it without the technical jargon. If that sounds familiar, keep reading.
We’re looking for a Care Record System Support Officer to provide day-to-day support for colleagues using Turning Point Scotland’s electronic care record systems.
What will you be doing?
Someone can’t log in. A permission doesn’t look right. A team needs shown how a new feature works. And there’s that system issue that keeps coming back…
That’s where you come in.
You’ll investigate and resolve system queries, manage user accounts and permissions, support and coach colleagues, and create clear guidance that helps people use the system confidently and consistently.
Sometimes you’ll solve the problem yourself. Other times you’ll gather the information needed and work with colleagues or the system supplier to get it sorted. You’ll also help spot recurring issues and find better ways of supporting people when the same problems keep coming up.
It’s not about knowing every answer. It’s about knowing how to find one and helping people along the way.
Is this you?
You’ll have experience supporting people with different levels of confidence to use digital systems, applications or business software. You’ll be:
curious and methodical when investigating problems;
organised and able to see tasks through to completion;
clear and patient when supporting colleagues; and
accurate and responsible when managing system access and information.
Experience of electronic care records, case management systems or working in a regulated environment would be useful, but it isn’t essential. We’ll provide system-specific training.
The technology matters, but so do the people using it. By helping our teams use our systems confidently and effectively, you’ll be supporting the work Turning Point Scotland does with people across Scotland.
Sound like your kind of role? We’d love to hear from you.
