About the Role
We are looking for an inspiring, forward‑thinking Nursery Manager to lead our team and uphold the highest standards of early years practice. You will be responsible for the overall leadership, quality, compliance and day‑to‑day running of the setting, ensuring children receive outstanding care and education.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years, confident in decision‑making, and committed to building a positive, professional and values‑driven team.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5/6 desirable).
- Strong leadership experience within an early years setting.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and safer recruitment.
- Confident understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and quality practice.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and develop a high‑performing team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage operational and administrative demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setting with professionalism, warmth and ambition, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education.
- Champion safeguarding and maintain a culture of vigilance, safety and compliance.
- Support, coach and develop staff, creating a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Oversee daily operations, routines and systems to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community.
- Uphold and promote the aims, values and expectations of South Hills School Nurseries.

Pay: £27,664.00-£32,448.00 per year
Work Location: In person
