We are looking to further expand our business and have an opportunity for driven, passionate, and professional individuals to build and develop a role as machine operators within our Manufacturing Department.
Established in 1951, we have specialised in bending and curving metal and alloys for 75 years, we offer a comprehensive range of Section Bending, Press Braking, Plate Rolling, Induction Bending, Tube Manipulation, Pipe Forming and Spiral /3- Dimensional Bending.
Key Responsibilities: (Where required training will be provided)
- Operation of metal bending machines of different types and sizes.
- Understanding and ability to read engineering drawings.
· Ability to handle heavier components with mechanical aids / overhead cranes.
- Adhere to good housekeeping practices and maintain a clean, organised and hazard free working area.
- Adhere to all company policies and health & safety responsibilities.
- Adhere to quality procedures and KPi’s set for your role.
- Develop & maintain relationships with colleagues.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the company.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in the steel industry would be advantageous.
- Full training will be provided to cover all aspects of working duties carried out.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 6:45am – 4:30pm (30 minutes lunch)
- 4-day compressed working week (37 hours)
