Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage service regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns promptly
- Collaborate with other bar staff to ensure smooth operations
Skills:
- Food safety knowledge to ensure proper handling and storage of beverages and ingredients
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work well in a team environment and provide assistance when needed
- Bartending skills including mixing drinks, garnishing, and using bar equipment
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and tracking inventory
- Familiarity with restaurant and hospitality industry practices
