As a Vauxhall Vehicle Technician - you will play a crucial role in sustaining JB Motors high Service and repair standards. Ensuring our customers drive away in vehicles known for reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out general vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of makes and models, including EVs. Carry out MOT’s if qualified (not essential)
· Conduct thorough new and used car pre-delivery inspections, ensuring all vehicles are ready for showroom display or delivery.
· Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and provide transparent repair estimates.
· Liaise with service and sales teams.
· Maintain workshop standards: cleanliness, tool/equipment upkeep, and health & safety compliance.
· Remain compliant with Vauxhalls training online programs.
Skills & Qualifications
· Qualified Vehicle Technician
· Demonstrable experience servicing and repairing multiple makes/models, especially used vehicles.
· Skilled with diagnostic tools and able to identify issues accurately.
· Attention to detail in safety, quality, and compliance.
· Excellent communication—comfortable explaining technical issues to customers and colleagues.
· Enthusiastic team player with a friendly, professional attitude that reflects our local family business values.
