This is much more than a teaching role.
We're looking for someone who wants to invest in one dance school, become an integral part of the team and help shape the future of TDA. Alongside teaching, you'll support the day-to-day running of the school, help develop new opportunities and play an important role in our continued growth.

The Role
Initially, your role will include:
Teaching
- Deliver engaging, high-quality dance classes for children and adults.
- Plan and prepare inspiring lessons.
- Teach a variety of ages and abilities.
- Encourage confidence, enjoyment and progression in every student.
- Support performances, workshops and events.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and professionalism.
School Operations
- Respond to parent enquiries and emails.
- Support trial bookings and new student enquiries.
- Assist with party bookings.
- Help organise workshops, holiday clubs and performances.
- Keep registers and administration up to date.
- Support the day-to-day running of the school.
Marketing & Growth
- Help keep our social media active and engaging.
- Create content that reflects the TDA brand and values.
- Support student recruitment and retention.
- Contribute ideas for new classes, events and community projects.
- Help us continue to grow the school.
Leadership
- Be a positive role model for students, parents and colleagues.
- Work closely with the Owner to support the ongoing development of the academy.
- Help maintain the welcoming, supportive culture that makes TDA special.
- Take on increasing responsibility as the role develops.
Hours
Initially the role will include:
- Friday morning pre-school classes (10am-11:40am)
- Friday afternoon/evening children's classes (4:15-7pm) Mixture of Acro, Street Jazz & Musical theatre. Option to add on an Adult Tap Class at the end of the evening.
- Optional Wednesday morning classes (10:40-12:00) Pre-school & Adult Dance Fitness
- Approximately two hours of administration each week (Flexible)
There will be opportunities for additional teaching and administrative hours as the role develops.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Has experience teaching dance.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and organised.
- Loves working with children and enjoys teaching adults too.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is proactive and enjoys taking initiative.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Shares our values of kindness, encouragement and have a positive approach to teaching.
- Wants to help grow a successful dance school.
Acro qualifications or experience would be desirable but are not essential. We value attitude, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn just as much as experience.
