Job Overview
Working out of our Head Office in Scorrier, Cornwall, we are looking for a Plant and Parts Administrator to join our MJL Plant Hire team, as we continue to expand our operations.
In this vital role, you will oversee the management and maintenance of plant inventory and the implementation of new systems, to ensure smooth and consistent equipment performance. Your expertise will support our operations by maintaining accurate records, and facilitating effective communication with site teams.

Our MJL Plant Hire team focuses on the operation and maintenance of equipment across all of our sites. Working on a range of fleet in plant, company vehicles and tools, this is a very varied department within the MJL Group.
Duties
- Manage and maintain our Plant stores
- Help to implement and maintain brand new systems of parts management
- Liaise with our teams across dozens of sites
- Assisting with general Plant administration to ensure the efficient running of MJL within the scope of your duties
- Tracking and logging store contents, including parts for plant, fleet and tools
- Keeping track of stock control
Skills (required)
- Knowledge of a plant department / stores / parts is very advantageous
- General administrative background
