Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children to learn, grow, and develop. Your leadership skills will help guide and support both children and team members, ensuring high-quality care and education are delivered consistently. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development across all areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
- Supervise and support children during playtime, learning sessions, mealtimes, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and daily activities in line with regulatory standards
- Lead by example in implementing best practices for childcare, early childhood education, and health & safety procedures
- Support the induction and mentoring of new staff members to uphold high standards of care and professionalism
- Manage daily operational tasks such as preparing learning resources, maintaining a clean environment, and ensuring compliance with policies
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting with Level 3 qualification or higher in Childcare or Early Childhood Education
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team effectively while fostering a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to plan creative activities that stimulate learning and development
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the safety of all children in your care
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a proactive attitude
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation or home visits
