Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform welding tasks to join metal pipes or repair damaged components with precision.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues early and prevent future failures.
- Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and assemble plumbing parts accurately.
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or modifications when necessary.
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to safety protocols to ensure efficiency and injury prevention.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting materials or equipment to various job sites as required.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a plumber in commercial or residential settings.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and pliers effectively.
- Knowledge of welding techniques suitable for plumbing applications.
- Familiarity with power tools used in plumbing installations and repairs.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, fixtures, and appliances.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations.
- Experience with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects is a plus.
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
