Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Certificate and Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, certifying, and maintaining domestic gas appliances and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections and certification of domestic gas appliances in accordance with legal and safety requirements
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of gas systems and appliances
- Diagnose faults using specialised tools and mechanical knowledge, then execute appropriate repairs
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards
- Complete detailed reports and certification documentation accurately after each service or inspection

Requirements
- Proven experience in gas appliance servicing, certification, or related mechanical roles
- Valid domestic gas certificate (or equivalent qualification) recognised by industry standards
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and documentation purposes
- Experience with assembly work involving various components or systems
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
- Must be Gas Safe registered with public liability and indemnity insurance.
