At Eddie Wright Car Supermarket, we’re looking for a motivated and adaptable Service Advisor/ Parts Controller to join our busy and growing aftersales team.
This exciting dual-role position is ideal for someone who can confidently switch between parts operations and customer service responsibilities, supporting both the workshop and front-of-house service department.
The Role
As a Parts Controller / Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping our workshop running efficiently while also delivering excellent customer service. You must be organised, proactive, and able to adapt quickly in a busy motor trade environment.
Your responsibilities will include managing parts supply and stock control, while also assisting customers with bookings, updates, and service enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Ordering and sourcing vehicle parts from approved suppliers
- Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Supplying parts efficiently to workshop technicians
- Handling invoices, returns, and warranty parts
- Booking vehicles into the workshop
- Liaising with customers regarding repairs, servicing, and progress updates
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service department
- Delivering professional and friendly customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Previous motor trade parts experience
- Service advisor experience would be highly advantageous
- Ability to adapt between parts and service responsibilities
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and administration abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail
