The Big Sandwich Club is a counter service concept - we do incredible sandwiches, proper coffee, and have a team that cares about getting it right. We're growing and we need a Floor Manager to own the front of house; lead the counter team, and make sure every customer leaves happy.
Daytime only - 9am to 4pm - so for the right person this is proper hospitality without the late nights.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
▸ Owning the FOH operation - coffee quality, service standards, and delivery accuracy are yours to hold
▸ Training and developing the counter team - coaching them on coffee, food knowledge, and how to hold a shift together
▸ Guiding customers confidently through the full menu - you know the food and drinks inside out
▸ Managing stock levels and placing orders - keeping the counter running without gaps or waste
▸ Keeping delivery operations clean - correct orders, correct packaging, on time, every time
▸ Holding the standard when it gets busy - you don't drop your head, and neither does your team
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
▸ Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a café, counter, or hospitality environment
▸ Strong barista skills - you can make an outstanding coffee and teach others to do the same
▸ Real food knowledge - confident talking through the menu and guiding customer choices
▸ Experience with stock management and ordering
▸ A natural leader - people follow you because you're good, not because you're loud
▸ Self-sufficient - you can run a shift without being managed yourself
