Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to work with another cleaner from 04:30 am to 06:15am Wednesday and Thursday and Friday. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients' environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior janitorial experience or those looking to develop their skills in commercial cleaning. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages identified during cleaning routines.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning duties over extended periods.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous. Pay: £13.00 per hour
