Holmwood Corner Surgery is recruiting Receptionist/Care Navigators for part-time roles in our excellent team of experienced long-standing staff. You will be part of a diverse, supportive and friendly team with direct support from management and partners.
The Receptions/Care Navigators team is responsible for dealing with patients face to face and over the telephone, ensuring they are seen by the right member of our practice team, as well as dealing with queries from patients and healthcare staff alike.

Holmwood Corner Surgery is a large GP practice based in New Malden. We are a forward-thinking, high-achieving practice that takes pride in offering the highest standard of personalised patient care. We aim to provide excellent clinical care in a friendly and mutually supportive environment.
Our Services include clinics for managing chronic diseases such as asthma, COPD and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as travel clinics, minor operations, antenatal and postnatal care, childhood vaccinations e.t.c
Primary Duties of the Job
- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Professionally assist doctors, staff, visitors and patients.
- Book patients in line with our appoinments procedure.
- Complete eConsultation for patients who are unable to access eConsult online.
- Sort and distribute the post and results for scanning or filling as appropriate
- Set up new patients on the computer system, and amend and remove patients moving out of the area.
- Completion of authorised repeat prescriptions.
- Assisting the Clinical Care Coordinators with eConsultations
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff and patient information.
- Liaise between medical departments with discretion and professionalism
- Adhere to policy and procedures during all activates
- Complete, accurate documentation of patients interractions.
