Duties
- test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety codes
- Read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute installation tasks
- Perform upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems as required
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams to complete projects on time and within budget
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role with a solid understanding of electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experience operating power tools safely for installation and repair work
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) are highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance

Pay: £210.00-£280.00 per day
