About the Position
We're looking for a motivated and reliable Production Operative to join our Manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in assembling, inspecting and packaging high-quality medical devices while ensuring products meet our exacting quality standards.
Depending on business requirements, you may work across different production areas, including controlled manufacturing environments, so flexibility and a strong attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components in line with approved procedures and work instructions.
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Label, package and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in line with company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and safety, following Health & Safety legislation, company SOPs and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, carrying out routine checks where required.
- Identify and report any quality, equipment or process issues promptly to a Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support the training and development of new and existing team members where appropriate.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required to support the Manufacturing team.r.
Requirements

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Can follow written procedures and work accurately to established standards.
- Is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and adapting to different production areas.
- Works well as part of a team but can also use their own initiative.
- Has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Is committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.
