Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. To work a minimum of 16 - 24hours a week in our Carmarthen Retail Outlet. It will involve working Weekends. Must be available to cover holidays and sickness. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, maintaining shop organisation, and supporting daily operations.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively.
- Provide information about products and services to enhance customer experience.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve shop operations.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for helping customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
