Borehamwood & Elstree United Synagogue community is a multi-generational, diverse community who share a passion for education and engagement. In the past our children’s programming has successfully reached out to a wide range of children and families. We hope to continue and develop this important part of our Shabbat community experience.
Children Service Leader for year 4 - 6
This is a service for years 4 - 6.
We require 1 leader to plan and lead the service and help the children follow the service.
The service should include teaching of aspects of the shabbat service to prepare children to pray with the community.
Children should also be engaged with activities such as songs, stories, quizzes, and games.
There will also be a kiddush at the end.
The purpose of this service is to educate and encourage the children to be more fluent with the synagogue service so they can fully participate in shul as they grow older.
