As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our friendly distribution team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role combining warehouse duties with multi-drop deliveries across South and Mid Wales. You will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately, safely, and on time while delivering excellent customer service at every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and accurately check customer orders.
- Load and unload vehicles safely by hand and, where authorised, using a forklift truck.
- Deliver products to customers across South and Mid Wales efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timescales.
- Drive safely and comply with all road traffic laws and company procedures.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
- Follow planned delivery routes while adapting to operational requirements when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery updates, delays, or issues.
- Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or obstacles that may affect safe and timely deliveries.
- Support warehouse operations and maintain high standards of housekeeping and health and safety.
What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
- No driving disqualifications within the last three years.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible attitude and willingness to undertake both warehouse and delivery duties.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
- Valid forklift truck licence.
- Good knowledge of South and Mid Wales.
