People Operations Manager – Housing Association – About The Client:
Castlefield are currently representing a local Housing Association in Merseyside to recruit a People Operations Manager on a 12 month fixed-term basis. This position will have a mixture between office attendance and home working and will be paying £48,000 - £50,000 per annum. Please note that the client is looking to interview w/c 07/09/26.
People Operations Manager – Housing Association – About The Role:
- Lead a broad HR generalist service across the full employee lifecycle, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and colleagues across the organisation and its property services division.
- Provide strategic HR partnering to a key operational service area, supporting service improvement, organisational change and the development of people, skills and culture.
- Lead and develop the People Team, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, payroll, learning and development, performance management, talent management and succession planning.
- Manage complex employee relations activity, coaching managers and the wider team while providing professional advice on HR policies, processes and employment matters.
- Drive people strategy and performance, delivering HR projects and using people analytics, KPIs and insight to inform decision-making and continuously improve the organisation.
People Operations Manager – Housing Association – What You Need:
- Relevant HR/OD experience, strong employment legislation and data protection knowledge, with the ability to manage ER/HR caseloads and competing deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience coaching and mentoring managers at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and evidence-based decision-making skills, with effective use of HR systems and MS Office while working under pressure.
- CIPD qualified - Level 7 or equivalent (desireable)
Pay: £48,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
