We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Staff to join our team in Bournemouth.
The successful candidates will help provide excellent customer service and ensure the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but we are also happy to consider candidates who have the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience.
- Prepare and clear tables before and after service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the restaurant.
- Assist with food and drink preparation when required.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Process customer payments and operate the till/POS system where required.
- Follow food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Restock supplies and ensure service areas are clean and well organized.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required by the restaurant management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays where required.
- Good personal hygiene and presentation.
- The right to work in the UK.
