We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health Service as a Recovery Housing Floating Support Worker.
We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and motivated individual to join our dedicated team supporting people with complex needs across Middlesbrough.
This rewarding role involves working with people affected by homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, mental and physical health challenges, and offending behaviour.
Using a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, you will provide flexible one-to-one support in a variety of settings, helping individuals access services, maintain stable accommodation, improve their wellbeing and achieve greater independence.
As part of a multi-agency team, you will develop personalised support plans, carry out risk assessments, advocate on behalf of service users and support them to build essential life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and managing a tenancy.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about empowering others, has excellent communication skills and can build positive relationships with people who may have experienced significant trauma.
In return, you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to people’s lives while working within a supportive team committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
You need a full UK Driving License and proof of Business Insurance.
If this is you, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!
