Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Level 3 Practitioner to join our clients childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's developmental milestones in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and reporting.
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
- Support the integration of children with additional needs by working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe setting in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
- Proven management or leadership skills in an early childhood context are advantageous.
- Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and the EYFS framework is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively liaise with children, parents, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Experience driving or possessing a valid driving licence may be beneficial for certain responsibilities or outings.
- A recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education is mandatory for this role.

Pay: £29,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
