Marshall Amplification plc is a well-established Company based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
An opening has arisen for a Production Planner within our Production Management team.
The role is to translate demand into executable production schedules that optimise capacity, materials, labour, and equipment utilisation. This role ensures that the platform meets business needs, improves operational efficiency, and integrates effectively with other systems. Along with managing, analysing, and optimising data within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of proven planning experience within a manufacturing environment using the ERP system D365. They will be a great team player who possesses strong communication and IT skills.
Duties include:
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with customer demand, forecast, and inventory targets.
- Balance production capacity, labour availability, and material constraints to create realistic and efficient plans.
- Adjust schedules proactively in response to equipment issues, supply shortages, or changes in priority.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure materials are available to meet the production plan.
- Act as the central point of communication between Production, Sales, Quality, purchasing across different entities of the business.
- Provide clear updates on schedule adherence, risks, and required actions.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with teams to implement improvements.
- Maintain accurate data in Dynamics 365
- Monitor data flows, and manager integration of new data.
- Support departments with data control and ensure data quality.
- Integrate D365 data with other systems and data sources.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in planning in manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience using the ERP system D365.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and strong IT skills.
- Well organised, and the ability to work across intercompany entities of the business.
Working hours are 39 per week: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm, with a one hour lunch on each day.
