Salary – Permanent – Part time - 28.8 hours - £40,000 per annum ( based on 50k per annum FTE )
Holiday – 30 days per annum plus Bank Holidays ( pro rata for part time )
Location – Ware & Broxbourne Campus

About the Role
- Lead the strategic development and growth of the College's Higher Skills (Level 4+) provision, delivering the Higher Skills Strategy and action plan.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with universities, awarding organisations, employers and regulatory bodies to enhance the College's Higher Skills offer.
- Identify new market opportunities, employer needs and Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) priorities, supporting the development of innovative Higher Skills programmes.
- Lead quality assurance, ensuring compliance with Office for Students (OFS), awarding body and College requirements, including annual monitoring, validations and quality reviews.
- Champion continuous improvement by monitoring performance against key performance indicators and driving quality enhancement across Higher Skills provision.
- Support curriculum leaders to deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, ensuring an exceptional student experience and successful learner outcomes.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to Higher Skills, including Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) and Higher Nationals.
- Act as the College's principal representative within the Hertfordshire Higher Education Consortium, strengthening collaborative partnerships and representing the College at key meetings.
- Drive student recruitment, progression and participation through effective marketing, UCAS processes, applicant conversion activities and promotional events.
- Ensure the student voice is embedded across Higher Skills provision, using feedback to continually enhance the learner experience.
- Lead cross-college projects, manage designated staff and contribute to business development initiatives that support the continued growth of Higher Skills provision.
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion while ensuring compliance with College policies, safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.

About You
You will bring:
✔ Leading successful development of HE programmes
✔ Knowledge and experience of higher-level validations, Higher National approvals, and Quality Assurance Agency review.
✔ Successful middle management experience within the education sector.
✔ Partnership management; knowledge of OFS and regulatory requirements; data analysis and performance monitoring
✔ Experience of engaging with internal and external HE quality processes
